About Ruth
I have had cross-gender feelings from a very early age, and finally accepted that I was a transvestite back in 1995, when I was 21. In my final year at university, I took the drastic step of living "full time" dressed as a woman to see what it was like, and this was a very liberating time for me; however, owing to impending graduation and the prospect of finding work in the real world, I reverted to living as a man.
Since then, I have had times when I have been fairly closeted about myself, with contrasting periods of times when I have been fairly open. I had always dreamed of meeting someone who would accept me as I am, and this finally happened in August 2003, when I met Sonia. We fell in love and married two years later; after a church wedding where I wore male clothes, we had a Pagan handfasting where I married her as Ruth. Thanks to Sonia, I have become a lot more accepting of myself, and especially my feminine side, and have been happier to be a lot more open about my feelings.
Body painting is also something which I have a major interest and passion for, and I have found modelling for body painting to be a very liberating and relaxing experience. Modelling has also helped me greatly in terms of being happy with my body image.
During the last few years, I have combined my transvestite feelings with body painting to give rise to a series of body painting designs which emphasise my feminine side. This has been a wonderful experience for me and is something which I wish to pursue further.
As I am also interested in the BDSM and fetish scene, I would be very interested in modelling for fetish related shoots as a transvestite model, especially if body painting is also involved.
At present, modelling is a hobby for me, and a pleasant way to relax after the rigours of a week at work in a demanding job. As such, I am happy to consider TFP (time for prints) modelling requests as well as paid work. I am also happy to work with both professional and amateur photographers, body painters and make-up artists, including students, and am very happy for any pictures of me to be used for other people's portfolios, websites or other promotions.
