10th November 2011 - A long overdue update
Just a quick update to say that I'm still around... I've
just been manically busy with my work in IT... lots of stuff
has happened in the past 3 years or so... my salon website
business Salon Alchemy has really
taken off, and I currently have around 130 websites up and
running for people at the moment; this is all part of my master
plan to be able to transition to live as Ruth full time -
although sadly the best made plans of mice and T-girls gang oft
aglae, as I was hoping to have done so already, but need to
grow the business a bit more first!
Talking of business, I got a lovely email today from Sue at
Fantasy
Girl - who I've just swapped links with - she is based down
in Folkestone in Kent and offers a fab selection of products
catering for the transgender community.
Finally, please also visit Salon Guinea Pig - which
is a site that I set up back in the summer of 2008, to help
people training in hair and beauty to find models to practice
on - as it can be quite tricky to find people - it's currently
free to join, and you can volunteer for a wide range of
treatments in hair and beauty, as well as being able to post
"requirements" for models yourself (if you're a hairdresser or
beauty therapist who needs models).
28th October 2008 - I'm Too Sexy For My Shirt
Which is why I am wearing body paint!
Back in August, at the Camera Club in London, I
was painted by my friend Vanessa for a party at
her exhibition of body painting photography. I helped out by
providing a bit of entertainment, including playing
synthesizers and singing this rather
amusing version of "I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred...
6th August 2008 - Shoot at
transvestitephotography.co.uk
Back in June, I went for a photo shoot at transvestitephotography.co.uk's
studio near Manchester. It was an amazing day; after a nice cup
of coffee, we started out by choosing a couple of "looks" based
on outfits I'd brought with me, and then, after changing into
my first outfit, it was straight into make-up.
The make-up area was amazing - an old-fashioned barber's
chair in front of a *huge* mirror - and make-up artist
Ava soon had me
transformed into a beautiful girl. Ava's had years of
experience in make-up, including work for magazines, film and
TV and has even done the make-up for footballer Cristiano
Ronaldo!
Next it was time for my first shoot; while
the make-up was being applied, photographer Kim had already
arranged lighting and and backgrounds, and he was soon putting
me at ease and getting me in the mood for the shoot. He was a
real star, with an uncanny ability to suggest poses and let me
know what would look good.
After the first shoot, we had a break for lunch, and then,
after changing into my next outfit, it was back into the
make-up chair for a new make-up look, and then my next shoot - this
time a relaxed shoot on a chaise longue.
With the studio less than half an hour away from the centre
of Manchester, it's ideally placed for people who want to come
in for a makeover and photo shoot, and then go on to Manchester
for a girlie night out.
A few days later, the pics were ready for me on DVD - and
were gorgeous, high resolution digital images - the smaller
versions I've used on my site doesn't do them justice.
5th April 2008 - Makeover by Sonia
Today, my lovely wife did my make-up and took some fab
photos (pics here).
She went for quite a dramatic look on my eyes, using a lot of
nice MAC and Urban Decay make-up. We did the photo shoot in our
new bathroom.
It's so lovely being married to someone who loves me being
girly and enjoys doing my make-up.

3rd April 2008 - Modelling at Abingdon College
Today I modelled for a lady called Sarah at Abingdon
College, who needed a model for some assignments for her beauty
course. She gave me a leg wax to start off with, and then did
my make-up, with a gold theme to match my outfit, including a
gold star on my cheek. Pics are here - enjoy :)
It was especially nice to model for someone on a beauty course,
as that is something I've always wanted to do.

5th February 2008 - A blast from the past...
I've been having another look back through my photo
collection, and have added two more galleries to the
site:
First, a Wizard of Oz
themed body painting I modelled for at the World Bodypainting
Festival in Austria back in the summer of 2003.
Also, a few months before that, when I went to a friend's birthday party in
London...

4th February 2008 - Some more new images
Ah, the joy of having your own custom Content Management
system for tranny pics!
I've added a couple more new galleries tonight:
Birmingham Pride
2004, where I was body painted and took part in the parade
with Birmingham Bi Women.
A few pics from New Year's
Day 2005 taken by my lovely wife Sonia.

3rd February 2008 - New galleries added
I've added a couple of new galleries to the site, after
pulling a few images off Sonia's portable hard drive.
There's some photos from September 2006 of when I'd just got my
hair done and was wearing some nice Dolce & Gabbana tiger print
jeans.
Also a few from New Year's Day 2007 when I wore a medieval dress to a party at
the local sports club.
Enjoy :)

26th January 2008 - Welcome to the new website
Hi, and welcome to the new-look site! I've given it a
complete makeover and added some funky new technology, with
more still to come. There's a brand new Gallery page, with lots of new pics. I'm
still in the process of migrating links over from the old site,
so if you had a link on the old site and it's not up yet,
please be patient.
As well as modelling, I'm now also offering body painting,
henna body art, banner advertising and web design, so if you
are interested in any of those, please check out the new
Services page.
